My restless body is tired and worn out;
Lying down with my eyes open;
My thought is writing;
As if it is daylight in the depths of night;
The full moon is the only light;
The dawn is the only sight.

While my soul is singing with joy;
My heart cries with pains going through my bones;
With many questions unanswered, still;
I will praise God until the end.

How short life will be;
If death comes suddenly;
I long to be up then in the depths of night;
As if it is daylight;
I will walk under the moon light;
At dawn, I will play guitar and sing a song;
And I will praise God in His throne.
