SAN JOSE CITY, NUEVA ECIJA – June 20, 2026 — Members of the CLSU Artist Club successfully conducted a Soap and Candle Carving Sculpture Activity at WalterMart San Jose City as part of their community arts outreach program in support of Amangpintor Art Charity.

The activity aimed to introduce sculpture as an accessible art form and encourage creativity among participants of all ages. Organizers hope to establish similar activities within communities to help develop artistic skills, particularly in sculpture, among students, children, and aspiring artists.

The event was led by the club’s Grand Artist (President), Remalyn Madayag Jose, together with dedicated members of the CLSU Artist Club. Participants were given the opportunity to learn basic carving techniques using soap and candles, allowing them to explore their imagination while developing patience, focus, and artistic expression.

The activity was open to everyone interested in sculpture, attracting young learners and community members eager to experience hands-on artistic training. Through this initiative, the organizers highlighted the importance of nurturing local talent and providing opportunities for creative learning outside the classroom.

The successful conduct of the activity reflects the commitment of the CLSU Artist Club and Amangpintor Art Charity to promoting arts education and inspiring future generations of Filipino artists through community-based programs.
