Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija — A talented artist from this town has found a meaningful way to express stories of love, family, and faith through her vibrant paintings.

Mary Rose Dupra-Deleon shared with the Inquirer that her inspiration comes from her upbringing and the values instilled in her by her family.

“Lumaki ako sa simple, masaya at may mapagmahal na magulang. They always taught me na maging humble at marespeto sa mga tao,” Deleon said, emphasizing the importance of humility and respect.

Deleon’s paintings often highlight themes of love and family, as she believes these bonds are the strongest. “Kaya sa mga paintings ko, karamihan ang concept is about love and family. Dahil kahit [anong] mangyari, family pa rin ang [susuporta sa'yo],” she explained.

Recently, Deleon has focused on biblical-themed artworks, aiming to spread the message of God’s love and the power of miracles. Through her creations, she hopes to inspire others and bring comfort to those seeking spiritual connection.
