Today, the group has come-up with the idea of imparting their knowledge and experiences to the youths to make their time more meaningful and useful.
This also helps the youth to get away from unnecessary vices and help them discover and develop their hidden talents,
which is beneficial for the upliftment of the Filipino culture.

but we are talking about their talents in arts.
They possess humility, self discipline and concern
to the Mother Nature. Hence, they are environmentalist in nature, have own philosophy in life, and
they have extensively believed in God. Sometimes they believe that they are couriers of God.
BRIEF
HISTORY
The Artist Club was established through the student semi-fraternity and semi-sorority organization in Central Luzon State University (CLSU) known as Artist Club founded in February 12, 1982 by Rexie M. Fernando (1982) as Founder "Co-Founders: Nonilo Delfin, Teoderico Clemente, Romy Trinidad, Jun Solis, Ver Angeles, Ferdinand Polo, Mario Rayo, Joey Rivera, Andres Gapultos and Lito Adriano", Elmer Dasco (1982) as Student Founder and Elito V. Circa (1994) as Chapter Founder, "Co-chapter founders: Cesar Macalinao, Marilyn Meriales, Mario Solis, Robert Ramos, Michael Salunga and others".
Artist Club became a national organization in 1994 and that year was most rapid growth of the fraternity. The first chapter outside the CLSU was organized in the Central Luzon Polytechnic College (CLPC) that year and now rename as Nueva Ecija University State and Technology formerly (NEUST). Artist Club chapter members range in size from approximately 5-20 yearly and in national level, members was increases to more than 2,000 in year 2007 and estimated one chapter founded every three to five years.
Like other fraternities Artist Club uses the same term in the official position, Supreme Grand Mater Artist for all founders, Grand Mater Artist for Adviser, Mater Artist for Junior Adviser, and Grand Artist for President, Deputy Grand Artist for Vice-President.
In 1998 the Artist Club was registered as Samahang Makasining (Artist Club), Inc. at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a non-profit organization through the help of Elito V. Circa, Cesar M. Macalinao, Nonilo Delfin, Oliver Justo, Jesusa C. Estanislao-Justo, Mario Solis and others. Mr. Genaro M. Tolentino was the first board chairman. In 2009 the Artist Club was also registered as ArtistClub Philippines, Inc. at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as also non-profit organization.
Municipal chapters use Samahang Makasining while Artist Club in college and universities level, Young Artist Club for high school level, Kids Artist Club in elementary level and Makasining Pinas for probationary members.
Samahang Makasining (Artist Club) is an art co-ed service semi-fraternity and semi-sorority organized to provide community service, artist development, and social opportunities for college students while municipal chapters primary focus on the rural art and culture development, community service and livelihood partners through arts.

This also helps the youth to get away from unnecessary vices and help them discover and develop their hidden talents, which is beneficial for the upliftment of the Filipino culture.
The Samahang Makasining (Artist Club), Inc. is also affiliated and recognized by National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and having yearly art projects and art convention which funded by the NCCA like "Laro ng Lahi" - Term originated from this organization and "Sulyap sa Sining", "Body Paint" and many other art events.
Membership in Artist Club
The semi-fraternity Artist Club was opened only in all colleges and universities in 1994 regardless of courses and was opened fully to all Filipino citizens in the municipality in 1998. All male members are called "Brothers" and Sisters for female.

Projects and Activities
Student Chapters activities focus only in their respective school and with collaboration to other fraternities and college organizations in the campus. All activities should be approved by the school student affairs while the Artist Club National Council provide assist to all chapters and conduct national activities and projects like National Art Convention events, Indigenous games "Laro ng Lahi" preservation and promoting Indigenous Materials for artworks with the support of National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) through their financial grant and resource persons.
