Satisfy the Earth
Lie down facing the blue skies and imagine Let the mountain contain you for a while and carry your troubles And when you go down its foot, be prepared to carry the mountain’s burdens Let the sunset be the signal to start another cycle
As you trek another mountain, cliff and valley Remember to visit the desired spot and halt for a moment Savor the time and wait till the darkness turns white And hear the whisper that echoes in your head
Suddenly the earth turns fierce and gives out catastrophe Earthquakes rock you and roaring thunders strengthen you A volcano erupts and squirts out sweet lava that reaches the gods above And then for a while everything became peaceful, quiet, calmed –satisfied
